I am excited to share that we have opened up the public preview of ConfigHub to anyone who is interested. Until now, preview signups had to wait for a manual review before being approved. This barrier has now been removed and you can immediately try out ConfigHub after signing up (and verifying your email).
We have also refreshed the tutorial. For our existing users who have already taken it for a spin, I highly encourage you to come back and check out the new tutorial. Two big things have changed. First, we now use standard GitOps operators to apply config to Kubernetes clusters by serving it up as OCI bundles. Second, the whole user experience is now focused on the higher level Components and Variants concepts, as opposed to lower level units.
Try it
The tutorial takes about 15 minutes and all you need is Docker running locally. You bring up a local Kubernetes cluster wired to ConfigHub, install a small chat app from a config bundle, make it live, change it, add a second local cluster with a production deployment, and flow a change from base to dev to prod the way you would with a real fleet.
